Ocean Joy Cruises is a family-run company. Founded in 2003, we have been providing high-quality dolphin and whale watching, snorkeling, and sightseeing cruises for more than 10 years along the West Coast of O’ahu, Hawai’i. We pride ourselves on using the latest technology, the freshest ideas, the most enthusiastic service, and giving our guests the priceless value of personal attention.

Our founder, Shane Griffin, had been vacationing on Kaua’i every year for 20 years, and every time he went there, he was sure to go on some sort of boat tour along the Na Pali Coast. It was his favorite thing to do! He loved the feeling of being on the open water with beautiful beaches, mountains, and valleys in front of him.
He later joined his family on O’ahu and discovered the unspoiled beauty of the Wai’anae Coast. It is such a rare treat to be able to experience that raw, unspoiled beauty of the outer islands, while still in the comfort and convenience of O’ahu.
This is what he envisioned years ago, and this is what we bring to you today. Our dolphin, whale, and snorkel adventure cruises bring you where few others have gone. Bus tours that “circle” the island actually skip the West Coast all together, because the road ends just past Makaha. Absolutely the best way to see this unspoiled coast is from the ocean, and the Kai ‘Oli’Oli takes you there!
